Controlling who can post comments

I will write my initial post here, then demonstrate how a user can post a comment…

This is an example of a user who has posted a comment on my entry entitled “WordPress Roles & Users”.

The user has simply clicked on the “Permalink” (in this case, the hyperlinked title “WordPress Roles & Users”) and then entered a comment in the “Leave a Reply” section at the bottom of the page.

An email requesting permission to contribute to the thread was automatically delivered to, then approved by, the Administrator for this blog (me, Rob Mclennan).

The user’s comment was then made public.

Note: As Administrator, you are also able to accept or reject such comments by logging in to your Dashboard (Dashboard/Comments).

    Thank You
